Lorentz-covariant theories of higher spin fields
Valeriy Dvoeglazov
We first discuss transformation laws of electric and magnetic fields under Lorentz transformations, which are known from the classical field theory. It is found that we can connect the resulting expression for a corresponding bivector with the expression deduced from the Wigner transformation rules for spin-1 field function. The problem of interpretation of a mass parameter is also discussed. Then, we consider various formalisms for spin-3/2 and spin-2 fields, Lorentz transformations, relativistic equations and quantization. We compare our results with those of recent works by M. Kirchbach et al, and with old papers.
